The Wardrobe offers exclusivity within the walls of the historic Cathedral Close. Fronting onto Choristers Square the rambling house dates from the 13th Century, with many additions and alterations down the years shaping its character. To its rear is a mature walled garden, a hidden jewel in the centre of Salisbury.
Accommodation
The house itself can accommodate up to 50 people in the Regimental Room, which offers sweeping views of the Cathedral Spire and The Close. The walled garden to the rear of the house accommodates a marquee providing space for up to 200 guests. For smaller numbers a reduced sized marquee is available. Our expert wedding planner service can provide practical support and advice on all aspects of setup and styling, ensuring you get the best from your chosen venue.
Catering
Award winning catering company Vanilla Catering and Events are our exclusive partners. Every function is bespoke and personal to you and all the food from Vanilla is hand made using local produce where ever possible. Vanilla doesn’t offer set packages as they realise every wedding or party is different and personal. The company offer a wide range of dining options ranging from the traditional seated three course wedding breakfast, to canapés, BBQ’S, buffets, sharing platters, hog roasts or bowl food - the choice really is yours.
You can enjoy welcome drinks on the lawn, a pop-up bar, a cocktail station, or a bespoke gin bar – whatever takes you fancy. Every client is allocated a wedding/event planner. This service is provided complimentary. The wedding planner will guide you through the wedding maze letting you can kick back, relax, and enjoy the day.
